Dr. Ana Rita Morais was recently invited by the University of Houston's Chemical Engineering Department to deliver a seminar on the research conducted at FEWLS. The seminar, titled "Catalytic Strategies to Convert Waste Plastics and Lignocellulosic Biomass into Valuable Products", showcased innovative methods for producing sustainable aviation fuels and chemically recycling plastics. During her visit, Dr. Morais interacted with various faculty members from the University of Houston, promoting a productive exchange of research interests. The event was highly successful, and we anticipate future collaborations. FEWLS expresses its gratitude to the UH community for their warm hospitality.
