Odiri Passed His Comprehensive Exam. Congratulations!

We are thrilled to share that Odiri Siakpebru successfully passed his comprehensive exam today (May 13, 2025)! This exam assessed his understanding of his doctoral thesis work, which focuses on creating a one-pot synthesis of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) through the hydrodeoxygenation of lignocellulosic biomass, utilizing transition and noble metals on acidic zeolite-based catalyst supports.

Odiri has currently two published manuscripts as first author, which are part of his Ph.D. research. He is currently working on his third publication that will be submitted this Summer.

The FEWLS Team would like to congratulate Odiri for his excelent work during his comprehensive exam and for accomplishing one more critical step toward his Ph.D. degree. Well done Odiri!
